Rouge Park Hiking Day Trip (14 Km) #Parkbus: Sat, Oct 8

Rouge NUP ToHi Trip 2022 01A

Int. Level Hike: Rouge Natl. Urban Park, Scarborough, ON

Let's explore Rouge National Urban Park, Canada's first national park within a city. Located in Scarborough, this urban park is a wildlife and nature refuge right here in our city's "backyard". Starting from Meadowvale Rd. - near the Toronto Zoo - we will hike four different trails alongside the Rouge River and the Little Rouge Creek.

Our CHARTERED BUS will shuttle us from Downtown Toronto (Yonge and Bloor) to the national park, located about 30 Km from Downtown.

The hike is challenging with lots of steep hills, so this hike will be for intermediate to advanced-level hikers. Not suitable for first time hikers. We will go at a moderate pace and take small breaks about once an hour. Length: 14 km.
